Raphael Marschall appointed new professor at the Division of Space Research and Planetary Sciences
Prof. Dr. Raphael Marschall has joined the Division of Space Research and Planetary Sciences as associate professor of experimental physics on February 1, 2026. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Nicolas Thomas. Prof. Marschall's primary field of research is the study of the formation and evolution of the Solar System, specifically using space missions. Prof. Marschall is also part of the joint division leadership and a member of the management board of the Physics Institute.
